Indian Index Valuation Dashboard
Explore Indian market index valuations separately from ETFs. Compare available P/E and P/B ratios, dividend yields, historical price cheapness, returns and risk measures across the index universe.
Inspect each index’s asset type, price basis, resolved symbol and fundamentals date before comparing it. Where an ETF proxy is used, its price represents the proxy exposure rather than the direct index level.
Available measures: Available P/E, P/B, dividend yield, fundamental score, relative valuation, historical price cheapness, returns and risk metrics using the Nifty 50 benchmark where applicable.
Valuation snapshot
143 indices in the accepted snapshot. Source timestamp: 2026-10-14 13:31. Missing metrics are shown as N/A.
These figures use the same accepted snapshot as the interactive dashboard. Refreshes retain the latest accepted dataset while source calculations are incomplete. Use Rankings, Screener and Compare above to explore all instruments.
How to read valuation and risk metrics
P/E and P/B
P/E compares price with earnings; P/B compares price with book value. Compare these ratios within relevant exposures and alongside other measures. Applicability varies by instrument.
Dividend yield
Yield expresses dividends relative to price. Global markets show trailing yield for the ETF proxy. A higher yield alone does not establish a stronger investment.
Historical price cheapness
ATH, three-year and five-year cheapness compare current prices with historical reference prices. They describe price relationships rather than historical P/E valuations or intrinsic value.
200-day moving average
The 200 DMA measure compares current price with its moving-average reference. Review the sign and price basis alongside the displayed valuation metrics.
Returns and risk
Where available, CAGR, volatility, Sharpe, Sortino and maximum drawdown describe historical performance and risk. Historical results do not predict future returns.
Scores and metric availability
Valuation bands and opportunity scores follow the dashboard methodology. Available/applicable counts show metric coverage. N/A indicates a missing or non-applicable value.
